We provide counseling about local options for care, taking into account your preferences and goals. We share and discuss options for pregnancy, birth, postpartum, lactation, newborn, and women’s health care in Lane County.

Lactation Classes:

• We offer lactation classes! Classes are an interactive online format and include in-depth lactation preparation to give you all the information you need for confidently feeding your newborn.
• Available in English and Español.
• Topics covered will include:
  • • Lactation challenges–sore or cracked nipples, plugged ducts, mastitis, etc.
    • Going back to work, pumping, and milk storage
    • Infant sleep patterns and safe sleep for nursing infants
    • FAQs and common concerns like “Do I have enough milk?”
    • Taking medication or other substances while lactating
    • What to expect when nursing your older baby or toddler
    • Weaning
    • And, answers to any questions you bring to the class!
